General
Creating an account on holiday.horse is free! Advertising accommodation is also free. If the accommodation is booked, we as the host will charge you 9.9% commission on the booking amount.
To do this, open the page https://holiday.horse/auth/forgot/. Simply enter your email address and confirm that you are human using the Captcha field for security reasons. Click “Reset my password.” You will receive an email with a link in a few minutes. You can reset your password there.
On the page https://holiday.horse/auth/register/. Simply enter your name, your email address and choose a password - done! Now you can book accommodation and access information about your vacation at any time. You can also offer your own accommodation with a stable for rent.
Adding an accommodation
Adding accommodation and horse boxes is free of charge. This means you can add, edit and keep accommodations online at any time as long as you want. We only charge a placement fee once your accommodation has been booked. The agency fee is 9.9% of the total booking price.
The guest pays conveniently using a secure payment method of their choice (e.g. Paypal or Sofort). Payment is initially made to Holiday.horse as an agent and will be transferred to you after the cancellation deadlines have expired. To do this, make sure that you complete your profile completely after registering.
As soon as the period for cancellation with a possible refund has passed, we will check the booking and the amount will be released. As a rule, the amount will then be transferred within the next 3 working days.
Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to say what taxes you have to pay as a host. Please contact your local office or consult a tax advisor for help.
Yes. Once a guest completes the booking, you as the host will receive a notification. From this point on, you have three days to confirm the guest's booking. Otherwise the booking will be automatically canceled. However, you should avoid this.
The availability calendar assumes that free dates are actually free. Please use our calendar management to block appointments manually. This way you avoid annoying cancellations for the guest.
Booking an accommodation with horse
Use the filters to choose accommodation: enter where you would like to go, which period is suitable for you and how many two- and four-legged friends are traveling with you. Then enter the desired period in the accommodation of your choice. If the host offers rental horses, you can select the number required and check the “I don’t have any horses and would like to borrow […] from the host for my visit” checkbox.
You will now be shown the cheapest price and can continue booking by clicking on “Book now”. On the next page you choose the number and type of boxes for your horses, the bedding, the feed and all other important things. Finally, choose a payment method, enter your billing address, click on “Book for a fee” - done!
Payment for the booking is made safely and easily using the following payment methods: credit card, SEPA direct debit.
Please note that each host has the opportunity to choose from different cancellation policies. To make sure that you do not overlook this, you will be shown the applicable cancellation policy again before completing the booking.
You can cancel your booking in the overview of your holidays in your account. To do this, select “My Holidays” - “Upcoming Holidays”.
Privacy
We will only use the data stored about you for internal processes related to your bookings. Your address will be passed on to the host to process bookings. Otherwise we will not pass on your data to others.
Yes. Although no one can guarantee 100% security, we use the latest technology to encrypt the connection between your browser and our server. Our systems are regularly maintained and kept up to date to ensure you the best possible security.
